| Flay started his career in manufacturing at Exide, rising from machine shop foreman to manager of manufacturing. Flay founded Magnevolt in 1986 to manufacture water activated batteries. He is a member of the Raleigh Civitan Club, the Grand Lodge of North Carolina and served for 12 years as president of the Broken Anchor Boat Club. | Since joining his family’s business at the young age of 13, Mark has been bringing insight and ideas to his customers time and time again with a collaborative and humble approach that leads to big results. He has over 15 years of experience in building water activated batteries and works every day to innovate the industry. A native of Raleigh, NC, he is received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Mark is an avid runner, sportsman and sailor. |
